How it works
PDP stands for Platinum Diamond Photon — a ceramic powder made from nano-platinum and nano-diamond particles, bonded onto sheets that line the inside of each dome.
According to the manufacturer, the material absorbs energy (including the heater's own heat and your body heat) and re-emits it in the 4–14 µm range. That's the far-infrared band most infrared saunas are designed around: it warms you rather than just heating the air.
Heaters and PDP sheets sit above and below you, so warmth feels even instead of hot on one side.
You breathe room-temperature air — many people find that more comfortable than a cabin sauna.

Bio-Photon domes are Korean premium dome saunas built for 220V, 60Hz — for example, the PDP Full-Body Dome 4.5 is rated 220V, 60Hz, 1,500W. Just like many home sauna owners in the US, we recommend a dedicated 240V circuit and outlet, installed by a licensed electrician near where the dome will sit. Before confirming your order, we check the exact specs, certification documents and installation requirements for your model with the manufacturer, and walk you through the setup.
